- Petal Harvill - Founder of School of Flowers and CEO of Petal Designs. Petal’s influence stems from her childhood with her mom, a design guru with a passion for flowers. “Color palates, placement, and balance were common concepts stressed throughout my childhood.” In pursuit of her vision, Petal soon earned an MBA and began training in floral designs, which involved international studies in floral, fashion and color trends, gift and design concepts. To cultivate her visual sense for the latest design trends, special attention is given to the European design culture. Training and later instructing at L’ecole des Fleurs (The School of Flowers) in Paris and attendance at shows such as Maison & Objet (Home Décor and Trends Show, Paris) contribute to the latest cutting-edge designs she brings to her clients. Diversifying her style, Petal studied and practiced Japanese floral design in Tokyo. Rounding out her floral education, Petal is a graduate of the highly acclaimed Rittners School of Floral Design in Cambridge, MA Petal now directs her popular School of Flowers & leads Petal Designs, a successful floral design company in Boca Raton, FL, focusing on Wedding & Events
